"Nature in the city, but not the city in nature!". We dealt in particular with the question of urban planning that gives pride of place to well-being, and the thorny subject of the artificialization of the soil. Finland will thus have a great experience to provide us in this area, the wood resource being a major component of its economy, its culture and its urban planning.
Before this week III, we worked remotely on the biodiversity we find in our cities, and the role of wood in construction. We have studed the problems posed by the artificialization of soils. We generally asked the question of well-being: when do you feel good in the city?
In this week III, we first presented our work, by national then transnational teams, in order to overcome the intimidating aspect of speaking in front of others and in another country! The goal was to break the ice.
Through visits and activities in class, we then talked about what is important for well-being in the city. Through an urban survey, students learned to work face-to-face in transnational teams, the ambassadors not being the same depending on the trip.
